We are open everyday over the festive season with a Christmas menu availabe as well as our normal menu throughout December. 
The kitchen however is closed on Christmas Day (bar open at lunchtime only) 
Our Christmas menu is available for groups of any size throughout December. 
If you would like this delicious menu please phone, emial or come in person and we will arrange a copy for you, alternatively you can print a copy from the website. 
We require a £10 per person deposit and a pre-order at least 3 days before. 
£22.50 per person (2 course £17.95) 
Jerusalem artichoke + white bean soup with pancetta lardons, parmesan crisp, truffle oil + warm homemade roll 
Duck liver parfait with candied chestnut, pickled raspberry, toasted homemade bread + micro herbs 
Beetroot vodka cured smoked salmon with Scotch quails egg, dressed leaves, horseradish + roast garlic aioli 
Walnut, Devon blue + pear tart with pimento + caramelised witlof salad 
Roast ballontyne of turkey with apricot + pistachio stuffing, christmas crumble, pig in blanket + all the trimmings 
Pan fried fillet of sea bass with fried salsify, samphire, saffron butter poached baby leek + Pernod + cardamon cream sauce 
Slow cooked cheek of beef with truffled mash, honey glazed chanternay carrots, buttered kale + smoked red wine jus 
Beetroot, roasted pinenut + Chevre risotto with spiced mascapone, watercress + lemon 
Lime tart with coconut ice cream, toasted coconut + honey tuille, shot of eggnog 
Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy anglaise + poached cranberries 
Red wine poach pear muille fuille with cardamon creme anglaise + mulled wine syrup 
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce + vanilla pod ice cream 
Local cheeses with homemade chutney, celery, grapes + biscuits (£2.00 supplement) 
Coffee/ tea with homemade mince pies to finish.....
